Welcome and thank you for your interest in Keefe Tech!
Rising 8th grade students (Class of 2030): We are looking forward to hosting our current in-district 8th grade students at our Showcase Days this November. With the changes in state regulations surrounding Career and Technical School Admissions, we are in the process of updating our Admissions Policy to be inline with the new regulations mandated by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Students interested in our school will still need to submit an application by the Priority Deadline of January 15, 2026, but more information about the selection process and transition to a weighted lottery will be shared in the fall of 2025.
Please note that we are planning to open our application for the Class of 2030 (fall 2026 grade 9 admission on October 15, 2025)
Current Grade 9 students (Class of 2029): If you just finished the 9th grade and are still thinking about Keefe Tech as a high school option, you are welcome to submit an application. We are no longer operating with our waitlist since the school year has started. We will look at transfer applications after we place our current 9th grade students in their career and tech program areas. This will happen mid-January. We do not expect any transfer activity until this is complete and new students will be enrolled based on program availability.
Current Grade 10 students (Class of 2028): If you are interested in transferring to Keefe Tech, you are welcome to submit an application. Applications will be reviewed and you will be contacted regarding the process. At this time we have limited availability in our Career and Tech Programs for students entering grade 10 (Class of 2028). Please note, that we will first look at the program availability of the 3 programs that applicants list on their application. If we have space, our Admissions Office will request records from the high school listed. If you don't hear from the Admissions Team at Keefe Tech, we most likely have not received records from your current school. We encourage families to to be active in working with your current school to assist in this process.
At this time we are not accepting students entering into Grade 11 (Class of 2027) or Grade 12 (Class of 2026) unless they are coming from a Chapter 74 Program in Massachusetts, or the equivilent of that training in a different community.
Admissions Events for Prospective Students and Families: We are excited about our admissions events for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year! Save the date for date for our Career Night on Thursday, November 20, 2025. Families can also submit an Admissions Inquiry Form at any time to set up a time to learn more about the application and/or what Keefe Tech has to offer.
